Complexity confirmed their favoritism at the NA MRQ

Complexity qualify for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

Cxzi and nicx will play their first Counter-Strike Major ever.

Complexity have booked their spot at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 following a 2-0 victory against BLUEJAYS in the group A upper final this Wednesday, April 16th.

Complexity were considered heavy favorites coming into the North America Major Regional Qualifier (MRQ) due to their recent form (16-3 since March 5th), and they didn't drop the ball.

Ancient: United States Complexity 16-12 BLUEJAYS United States

Ancient was a tale of CT-sides. BLUEJAYS put Complexity on the ropes after winning the first half by 9-3, however, COL also won their CT-side by 9-3.

The map headed to overtime, and Complexity had the luxury to stay on the CT-side. They won all three rounds there and grabbed the final point in the first round of their T-side.

Train: United States Complexity 13-7 BLUEJAYS United States

BLUEJAYS had the opportunity to secure a great advantage for the second half as they won five in a row on their CT-side, but Complexity reacted, and the first half finished 6-6.

From there on, BLUEJAYS knew it was going to be hard as Complexity are one of the best teams in the world when it comes to Train's CT-side. COL played it aggressively and shut down most of BLUEJAYS' plans before they were even put into practice.

Though everybody on Complexity played well, Håkon 'hallzerk' Fjærli was their most consistent player and won them the series with a 1v3 clutch.
