Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 Day 6 Recap - Fisher College secures second playoffs spot

Day six of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 consists of six player series, sending another team through to playoffs with 3-0 records, and another home a with paltry 0-3 showing.

Fisher College 2-0 Daaku

Fisher College knocked off the dominant Daaku roster, taking Mirage 13-8 and winning in overtime on Anubis, 16-13. The series was packed with international talent, but Milan "CrePoW" Libbrecht stood the tallest with 51 kills and 29 deaths, punctuated by a dominant game on Mirage.

Vagrants are the second team to be sent home with an 0-3 record, after letting a comfortable lead after a 13-4 win on Dust2 slip away. LOBOARMY stayed alive with a 13-7 win on Train and a 13-10 win on Ancient. LOBOARMY's lone Colombian Juan "Slayerhz" Rodriguez stepped up on Ancient with 30 kills and only 12 deaths, dominating in both halves.

Like the other series that went to three maps on day 6, the winning team emerged victorious despite dropping map one. LFO 4 took Anubis 13-10, but Caleb "jchancE" Davis dropped 46 kills over the next two maps, propelling the Capybaras to a win with a 13-7 Dust2 result and a 13-8 Train victory.
