Bad News Capybaras top first Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #1 Open Qualifier

Last night ESL Challenger League Season 49 squad Bad News Capybaras topped the first Open Qualifier for the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #1, coming out on top of a field of five teams that also included the likes of Revel, Chicken Coop, and Aether. As previously disclosed, the qualifier did not go off without its fair share of issues, with a number of teams struggling to sign up for the event or compete in the event with their intended roster.

Dust2.us and INUI are committed to working diligently to resolve these issues and we hope to have a much improved experience for the second open qualifier and beyond.

Bad News Capybaras' road to the main event saw the team best hryvnia squad 13-5 on Mirage before receiving two forfeit wins over Aether (due to roster issues) and Revel (due to a scheduling conflict with ESEA Main Season 52 playoffs). Not the most strenuous challenge, but we're hoping for competition to heat up in the coming weeks.
