NIP joins growing team list at FRAG x LVL UP EXPO Vegas to fight for vital VRS points

Following the conclusion of Fragadelphia x Block last weekend, FRAG x LVL UP EXPO, Fragadelphia's next LAN event in Las Vegas has seen a massive uptick in the number of signups, with top NA and even international names preparing to make the trip out to Sin City!

Of those, the most exciting and surprising of them all is none other than Ninjas in Pyjamas, with the Swedish organization set to dispatch their international roster to Las Vegas to try and wrangle up some much needed Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points.

Ninjas in Pyjamas have struggled immensely to break into the scene with their new roster out in Europe, with the team's current VRS rank of #184 leaving the squad relegated to only playing open qualifiers with no chance of invites to larger online and LAN events. As such, the team have taken the dramatic step of heading out to North America to try and secure points from Fragadelphia's $10,000 LAN event.

To underscore how unusual that situation is, the last NA open LAN the NIP organization attended was IronGaming Season 1 all the way back in 2014 where the team faced Matthew "Warden" Dickens' Exertus and Na`Vi out in Austin, Texas.

If NIP's attendance wasn't exciting enough, recent FRAG x Block winners BLUEJAYS and Fragadelphia 18 winners NRG are also set to join the fray, with two of NA's top teams hopefully being a match for the Swedish Interlopers.

But wait there's more! Alongside these three titanic teams even more ESL Challenger League squads have confirmed their attendance, with Chicken Coop, Chill Guys, and SUPER EVIL GANG all set to head out to Las Vegas. Likewise, ESL Impact League will be well-represented as Ghost, FlyQuest RED, and Nouns Fe have also confirmed their attendance.

As a final cherry on top, Game Hunters, a mid-table Brazilian lineup are also heading to Vegas making this LAN even more international.
