mCe will be the new brains behind ex-Broken Alliance in ESEA Season 26

ex-Broken Alliance replace motm with mCe

The ESEA Main champions and near-ELEAGUE qualifiers have surprised everyone by making an IGL change.

Earlier tonight, Ian "motm" Hardy announced that he would no longer be playing for ex-Broken Alliance:

The move comes as a surprise, as the team of young upstarts are coming off of winning the 25th season of ESEA Main (earning them a promotion to Premier for Season 26), as well as narrowly missing qualifying for the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier. Most notably, the team defeated fellow rising stars Rise Nation in that qualifier, to proceed to the top 4, where they lost in consecutive maps first to Immortals, then Renegades in the match that decided the final spot. The team has gotten considerable interest from organizations off the back of these two accomplishments.

It was later revealed that Hardy's replacement would be Matthew "mCe" Ellmore:

The 26 year-old had recently played the Java Gaming Labor Day event with new teammates Logan "Voltage" Long, and Jack "xCeeD" Holiman. He brings to the team some experience at the Pro level, which he earned while playing with Jake "kaboose" McDonald's The Foundation during ESL Pro League Season 5.

The roster for ex-Broken Alliance is now:

  • United States Ryan "Snakes" Amann
  • United States Michael "Grim" Wince
  • United States Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
  • United States Logan "Voltage" Long
  • United States Matthew "mCe" Elmore
  • United States Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
