Cloud9 uproot Sprout

Cloud9 advance to 2-0 after a short affair on Inferno.

Day two of the ELEAGUE Major Boston Main Qualifier would see a one sided affair on Inferno between Cloud9 and Sprout, who looked to have cooled off after a surprising debut agaisnt Space Soldiers on day one.

Despite a strong start in the pistol, Sprout would continue on to lose the following anti-eco round. In typical Cloud9 fashion, they would take control and build a commanding first half lead only dropping one more round in the first half,  preventing Sprout from stringing any rounds together.

Cloud9 would go on to end the half with an impressive 13-2 scoreline thanks in part to several strong rounds from Jake "Stewie2K" Yip earlier on in the half.

Sprout was able to pickup the must needed second half pistol round and strung together three rounds to put the score at 13-5. Despite a favorable 2v5 situation, Sprout would falter once again as C9's Will "RUSH" Wierzba found three kills and pulled out a 1v2 clutch. This would prove to be the final nail in the coffin for Sprout, as Cloud9 were able to win the final two rounds with relative ease, ending the game 16-5.
