Cyrix and Subarashii set to leave ONET4P

Despite a strong season, the duo are set to wave ONET4P goodbye.

McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison and Sean "Subarashii" Tuttle are set to leave ONET4P after the conclusion of ESEA Premier Season 38 playoffs. The duo leave the squad after almost six months with the team, having joined in May and June, respectively.

Their departure from the team comes as a surprise as ONET4P have had a highly successful first season in Premier, making playoffs after a 3-4 regular season. Outside of the division they have posted decent results in various qualifiers and standalone events, most recently claiming a 3rd-4th place finish in SteelSeries Prime Cup.

Cyrix and Subarashii both declined to comment to Dust2.us, stating that they will explain their situations after the end of playoffs. The team's coach Kieran "KayJay" Playfair did provide a statement to Dust2.us, stating:

Had a great season with a lot of ups and downs. The downs took a real hard toll on people's trust and drive. Since the off season is most likely fairly short, the bulk of the team wanted to use this 'off' week to do tryouts.

With the duo leaving, ONET4P will be heading into the off-season with:

  • United States Kyle "Just2EZ" Tan
  •  Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He
  • United States Junjie "Gank88" Lin
  • Canada Kieran "KayJay" Playfair (Coach)
  • United States Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady (Analyst)

ONET4P will play their opening match of ESEA Premier Season 38 playoffs against RBG on October 12th at 7PM EDT.
