X13 disband as Coldest Riding clinch final Premier spot
Coldest Riding have clinched the final spot in ESEA Premier Season 38 with a 2-1 victory over X13, with Season 38 set to be the first season of Premier for all five players.
The fifth place decider series began with X13 in the lead as they claimed a close 16-14 win on Coldest Riding's map pick of Vertigo. The series score was quickly tied up however as Coldest Riding managed to take their opponent's map pick with a relatively one-sided 16-9 win on Overpass.
With the series tied up, Nuke began with X13 claiming a modest 8-7 lead on CT-side before Coldest Riding ran away with the map in the second half, winning it 16-10. Over the course of the series, Landon "landmaz" Lawrence and Andrew "Drew" Warkentin were integral players for Coldest Riding, posting 1.28 and 1.24 ratings, respectively.

With Coldest Riding besting X13 in Relegation, Dust2.us has confirmed that the team are going their separate ways.
At the time of publication, the majority of the former X13 lineup are yet to announce their intentions for Season 38. Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell, the only member of the team with Premier experience, has announced that he plans to build a new lineup. On the other hand, John "jtmythic" Timmermann has joined GGPR's ESEA roster alongside former SoaR and Dignitas player Jack "xCeeD" Holiman. GGPR did not respond to Dust2.us' request for comment.
