Leetify announce Bad News Bears sponsorship

The analytics platform will provide support for the team during the IEM Cologne Play-In and ESL Pro League.

Leetify have announced that they will sponsor Bad News Bears for the duration of IEM Cologne and ESL Pro League Season 14.

"We are excited to be working with Bad News Bears," Leetify CEO Anders Ekman said in the announcement of the sponsorship. "We have some fantastic collaboration ideas and cannot wait to show you them in the coming months."

Bad News Bears are set to travel to Europe on July 1st as they prepare to compete in the IEM Cologne Play-In stage on LAN, where they will take on mousesports in their opening match. Eight spots in the main event will be on offer through the Play-In, which will be Peter "ptr" Gurney and company's first taste of European competition after spending the past year and a half locked into playing domestic events.

The sponsorship announcement comes just two days after Bad News Bears released an apparel collection in collaboration with Big Chillin, with all of their merchandise selling out within 90 minutes. The proceeds from both the apparel collection and the sponsorship will help sustain the team as they continue their search for an organization while competing in Europe.

Bad News Bears also hold a spot in ESL Pro League Season 14, which will play out after the player break from August 16 - September 12 in Malta.
