Extra Salt and oNe advance to ESEA Premier upper bracket final
Round two of the ESEA Premier Season 37 postseason has concluded with Extra Salt and oNe advancing to the upper bracket final, while GGPR and Party Astronauts had their seasons end last night at the hands of RBG and ChocoCheck, respectively.
ChocoCheck returned to their usual lineup last night and facilitated an earlier than expected exit for Party Astronauts following a thirty-round victory on Nuke and a decisive win on Vertigo. ChocoCheck's in-game-leader Bobby "stamina" Eitrem led his team by example with 52 kills in the series, while Wesley "viz" Harris top fragged for Party Astronauts with 47 kills in a tough loss to end their Season 37 campaign.

GGPR got off to a solid start and took a 9-6 lead into halftime on the Dust2 opener, but RBG were absolutely dominant in the second halves of both maps and allowed Chase "lowrider" Releford's side just five rounds total after the side switch in the series. RBG were led by Connor "chop" Sullivan with 49 kills, while lowrider led his side with 44 frags as their whirlwind season concluded.

The marquee matchup of last night was also the only series to go the full three maps. paiN managed to wrestle Extra Salt's map pick of Vertigo away from them in overtime, but Extra Salt bounced back with decisive wins on Mirage and then Inferno to reverse sweep the Brazilian side in a potential grand final preview. Josh "oSee" Ohm went toe-to-toe with Rafael "saffee" Costa as the pair finished the series with 72 and 71 frags, respectively.

The final series of last night was also the most clear cut. oNe allowed Triumph just seven rounds total after the first half of Nuke and easily advanced to the upper bracket grand final to take on the postseason favorite, Extra Salt. There were no heroics from David "cynic" Polster yesterday, as oNe held him to just 33 frags as Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa ran wild and collected 53 kills in 46 rounds of play.
