Recon 5 release team as players scramble to rebuild
Recon 5 have announced that their team has disbanded and gone their separate ways, apparently due to multiple members of the team having school commitments during the start of the season.
However, the situation does not appear to be as cut-and-dry as the organization's post suggests, with Tyler "tweiss" Weiss and Dylan "SATURN" Finch expressing surprise about the sudden disbandment of Recon 5. Since then there have been a flurry of changes on the team's ESEA roster with multiple players leaving the roster only to return during the previous three hours.
Koby "kobruh" Higgs left Recon 5's ESEA roster yesterday and confirmed to Dust2.us that he would no longer be playing with the team, but offered no further comment.
As for Austin "AAustiN" Urb and Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel, they did not reply to Dust2.us' request for comment, but JazzPimp has since joined ChocoCheck's ESEA roster.
Dust2.us knows that tweiss and SATURN are considering building a new lineup but things are very much up in the air, with the duo still considering their options.
The dissolution of Recon 5 marks an unfortunate end to the lineup after a strong showing in ESEA Premier Season 36 playoffs, with the team taking down Mythic while also having played competitive series against eventual champions Bad News Bears and third-place finishers RBG.

Should the former Recon 5 duo create a stable roster, it will be in action in ESEA Premier Season 37, which is set to start on May 3rd.
