FlyQuest sign ex-Grayhound squad

FlyQuest have further invested into Counter-Strike 2 after previously forming FlyQuest RED.

American organization FlyQuest have signed ex-Grayhound, seeing their main brand enter the Counter-Strike 2 scene after dipping their toes into the water with the formation of FlyQuest RED last year. The pickup sees Joshua "INS" Potter and co. end their search for a new home after Grayhound ceased operations at the start of March.

The signing comes after Grayhound disappointed ANZ CS2 fans by failing to make the first CS2 Major after losses to The MongolZ and Lynn Vision in the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia-Pacific RMR. Despite missing out on the Major, the ANZ squad has a number of upcoming high-profile opportunities, with the team set to attend IEM Chengdu, ESL Pro League Season 19, and IEM Dallas in the coming months.

With a new source of support the roster will look to regroup and re-enter the top 30 ahead of the qualification for the Perfect World Shanghai Major, especially as the Asia-Pacific region now has three spots thanks to The MongolZ's performance in Copenhagen.

FlyQuest are now:

  • Australia Joshua "INS" Potter

  • Australia Alistair "aliStair" Johnston

  • Australia Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas

  • Australia Declan "Vexite" Portelli

  • Australia Christopher "dexter" Nong

  • Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga (Coach)

FlyQuest will debut in their new green garb on LAN at IEM Chengdu 2024 on April 8th against Cloud9.
