Liquid to skip Skyesports Masters 2024
Liquid has announced that they have pulled out of the Skyesports Masters 2024, with the organization saying exiting the Indian event was a "difficult decision". The event was recently moved online after failing to secure a physical venue in India due to a clash with the upcoming Indian general election.
Dust2.us understands that Liquid made the decision due to the busy schedule, as well as the upcoming Esports World Cup North American qualifiers which are on April 16th through April 17th, with the Closed Qualifiers to take place in the two days immediately after.
The organization is seemingly a high priority for Liquid, as the they also declined to participate in Global Esports Tour Rio de Janeiro 2024 which would directly clash with the qualifier. Liquid has said that they will have more details outlining the team's tournament participation coming soon.
