LAN ETS 2024 announced with $10K CAD prizepool

Canada's largest LAN party has returned with another CS event.

French-Canadian tournament and convention organizer LAN ETS have announced that Counter-Strike will return for the 2024 edition of their long-running event series. Moreover, LAN ETS 2024, the first edition to feature Counter-Strike 2, will have the largest prizepool for the game since LAN ETS 2019, with $10,000 CAD (~$7,391 USD) on offer for the event.

While details are still sparse for the event, it is set to run from June 28th - 30th at the Palais des congrès de Montréal in Montréal, Canada. Unlike the majority of American LANs, LAN ETS is a BYOC event, meaning interested competitors will need to bring their own setup, potentially limiting attendance from distant players.

Last year's iteration of LAN ETS was won by qreto15dar, a mixteam most notably consisting of David "J0LZ" Jolin and Saad "Pluto" Siraj, who bested The Jungle in the grand finals 2-1.
