G2 victorious in Malmö

The dust has cleared in Malmö, and the team left standing are G2. The French giants looked in full control during the Grand Final against North, which they had reached after topping their group, and defeating SK and Ninjas in Pyjamas during the bracket stage.

Though far from a solo effort, Kenny "kennyS" Schrub was awarded the DreamHack Masters Malmö MVP award after he posted a 1.48 rating across the two maps of the final.

On the side of the Danes, they reached the final after defeating Immortals and reigning Major champions Gambit on two maps each. In spite of the map count, each series featured one close affair that went to overtime. In the final itself, it seemed like the Danish side had lost some of their fire, with only Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke posting a positive kill/death ratio.
