HavoK steps down from Depth

Unfortunate personal circumstances see HavoK miss out on his first season of MDL playoffs.

Dust2.us has learned that Bryan "HavoK" Kuzawinski has stepped down from Depth ahead of the start of ESEA MDL Season 35 playoffs. His exit from the team comes in part due to unfortunate personal circumstances that sees the player without internet following extensive damage to his mother's house as a result of Hurricane Zeta.

As a result, Depth will be using Jake "bddu" Gartin as a stand-in for the remainder of the season.

The loss of HavoK will be a heavy blow for Depth in playoffs, as he was their highest rated player with a 1.07 rating over the course of eight maps.

His replacement, bddu will have to step up in a big way tonight as he has never played a season on ESEA before. The team's manager Jake "eptima" Allen told Dust2.us that bddu is a friend of the team, and while he has never played semi-professionally before they believe he is a stronger fragger than the team's coach "FLUSH" or their substitute player Sean "Zevro" Hartnett.

Depth's roster for ESEA MDL Season 35 playoffs will be:

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
  • United States Shane "shane" Dressler
  • United States Derek "dare" Brown
  • United States Kyle "KEL" Murray
  • United States Jake "bddu" Gartin (Stand-in)

Depth's playoff run will begin tonight against Secret Club at 8PM EST.
