Elevate return to NA with timbermen signing

Elevate's return to the NA scene comes after nearly nine years.

Elevate have announced the signing of timbermen, seeing the orgless squad find a major source of support after qualifying to the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR and the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown in a stunning fashion. The American organization's decision to invest in timbermen sees Elevate return to CS after two years, and more significantly, sign their first NA CS team in nearly nine years.

timbermen's ascendancy in recent months led to the squad leaving Badass after five months to pursue an organization that could pay the team a salary and offer more consistent support. While controversial in the past, timbermen have made massive strides in recent months as competitors after bringing on Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell and Deni "dea" Ediev. The team has ample local LAN experience and strong results online and will now look to build on that under their first professional organization.

Unfortunately for Elevate, their debut on LAN with their new squad will be tainted by the recent theft of dea's passport, seeing the Russian player unable to attend the RMR as a result. In his place, the team are set to field Adam "nbgee12" Zanzoul while the team are still looking at their options for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.

Elevate are now:

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

  • United States Derek "dare" Brown

  • United States Shane "shane" Dressler

  • United States Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell

  • Deni "dea" Ediev

The former timbermen squad will play their first match under Elevate at the PGL Copenhagen Major Amereicas RMR on March 1st.

They definitely earned everything they've gotten. Incredible runs from them in the past two qualifiers. Hope to see them raise the level of competition in NA.

They definitely have fallen on economically hard times in the past, I'm not sure if they ever officially went bankrupt though.
