The Entourage sign for RONIN

After securing a LAN berth, the team have now obtained sponsorship.

RONIN have signed the team previously known as The Entourage, Dust2.us has learned. The squad was formed at the beginning of December by bringing in some new blood to the former Denial core.

The move was revealed in a Tweet by Esports Arena, showcasing the participating teams in the upcoming Legend Series North America Finals, which the team qualified for after surviving a tough series against Hyper.

RONIN's roster is now:

  • David "Xp3" Garrido
  • United States Tyler "tweiss" Weiss
  • United States Ian "Tex" Botsch
  • United States Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
  • United States Jeff "REZU" Ngo
  • United States Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez (Coach)

Having dealt with the well-documented and myriad issues surrounding the Denial organization for some time, veteran David "Xp3" Garrido, Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez and Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce will be crossing their fingers. Dust2.us has learned that the contracts are for the duration of a year.

The move marks a return to CS:GO for RONIN, who released their former squad in September. The organization has two ESEA MDL playoff appearances under their belt to date, and will now look to add more.

RONIN's new team will make their debut at the Legends Series North America Finals on January 7th. Should they manage to finish in the top two there, they will qualify for the Legends Cup in February. The other two participants at the $20,000 event are already known in the forms of rising Polish side AGO, and the international mix of 5POWER. The team will also be participating in ESEA MDL Season 27, where they will hope to improve on a 7-9 campaign in Season 26.
