Strife return with RUNnGUN signing

Strife have gone all French Canadian for their return to CS.

Canadian organization Strife have returned to the Counter-Strike scene after a lengthy hiatus, announcing the signing of RUNnGUN last night ahead of their fifth match in ESEA Advanced Season 48. Strife's most recent roster before RUNnGUN broke up in June 2023 and consisted of notable names including Ian "motm" Hardy, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem, and Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney.

While their new roster is less outwardly high profile as their previous additions, RUNnGUN are one of the most experienced squads in ESEA Advanced at the moment, as the entire roster boasts ESL Challenger League and ESEA Premier experience. J0LZ, in particular, has made ECL/MDL playoffs five times in his career, while also recently winning ESEA Advanced Season 45 with WITHOUTWARNING.

J0LZ is also related to one of the owners of Strife, with co-founder Mathieu Jolin being his older brother.

The team was recently formed in early January, although its roots can be traced to the Miracle roster that competed in the French-Canadian Coupe Québécoise Saison 1 in November 2023.

Strife are now:

  • Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin

  • Canada Cedric "Melio" Perrault

  • Canada Brandon "YuZ" Cyr

  • Canada Thomas "FAME" Barbeau

  • Canada Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue

Strife currently have a 4-1 record in ESEA Advanced Season 48, albeit with two forfeit wins, and are looking to climb up to a 5-1 record when they face FRAUDS on January 31st at 09:00AM.
