neptune made an instant impact for Underrated VALORANT

neptune headlines new Underrated VALORANT roster

The team won the Pittsburgh Knights VALORANT Rumble without dropping a map last weekend.

The latest big name from the North American scene to make the switch over from CS:GO to VALORANT may be Jason "neptune" Tran, as he participated in two events with Underrated's roster last weekend.

The highlight of neptune's CS:GO career was undoubtedly at the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals with Ghost, where they defeated ORDER, NRG, and were an overtime away from upsetting Natus Vincere and qualifying for the playoffs.

neptune's career also featured stints in Swole Patrol, Swole Identity, and most recently, Recon 5 prior to the entire roster's release. The loss of a salary is no doubt a strong impetus for potential change, especially since Underrated were quickly able to secure a $4,500 payday.

When contacted, neptune did not respond as to whether his presence on this roster would mean the end of his time in CS:GO, or if he will continue to play with the ex-Recon 5 core going forward in addition to his commitments to this VALORANT roster.

Underrated VALORANT are now:

  • Canada Adam "Ange" Milian
  • Canada Ryan "shanks" Ngo
  • United States Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak
  • United States Alexander "retrQ" Kadan
  • United States Jason "neptune" Tran
  • United States Charles "heino" Heino (Coach)

Underrated is not currently scheduled to appear in any upcoming tournaments.
