Coach mCe has been playing in place of steel, due to the latter's Valve ban

Octet of MDL teams proceed to second day of cs_summit 6 qualifier

Eigth seeded RBG were just narrowly bested by blood, sweat, and tears.

The first day of the cs_summit 6 North America open qualifier played out yesterday, and mostly in the expected fashion.

The third round of the bracket saw RBG take down a Third Impact featuring Austin "RenZ" Dickman, New England Whalers defeat Kinship, and Erik "fl0m" Flom's Ownage mix outlast Aura.

Notable matches in the fourth and final round of play yesterday saw blood, sweat, and tears edge out Advanced side RBG, New England Whalers walk over Soham "valens" Chowdhury's Savage, and the Ownage and Ze Pug Godz mixes lose to Warriors International and oNe, respectively.

It should be noted that Chaos have been utilizing coach Matthew "mCe" Elmore in place of in-game leader Joshua "steel" Nissan, due to cs_summit 6 being a Regional Major Ranking event. Despite this, the top MDL side hardly broke a sweat yesterday, never surrendering double-digits.

The next matches of the qualifier, set to commence at 1 EDT, are as follows:

United States Chaos vs. Canada blood, sweat, and tears
United States AA vs. United States Levitate
United States Warriors International vs. United States New England Whalers
Brazil oNe vs. United States Recon 5

The full bracket is available here.

From here on out, all matches in the qualifier will be best-of-three. The top three sides will advance to the cs_summit 6 North America Regional Qualifier, where they will join invited teams MIBR, Cloud9, Envy, Triumph, and Yeah.
