Icelandic team DUSTY to miss Fragicago

Dust2.us has confirmed that Icelandic team DUSTY are set to miss Fragicago after initially signing up for the event back in October.

DUSTY player Þorsteinn "TH0R" Friðfinnsson told Dust2.us that DUSTY had to make the difficult decision to pull out of the event due to financial constraints attached with sending a team from Reykjavík to Chicago. For context, flights alone would cost the team in an excess of ~$4,000, a large expense for an organization of DUSTY's size before even factoring in hotel fees and other expenses to play in a $10k LAN.

While it is unfortunate that we won't see DUSTY stateside this time around, TH0R told Dust2.us that the team hopes to attend the big next Fragadelphia event in 2024. Fragicago is set to start this week on December 1st and is set to feature 31 North American teams.
