MDL Recap Week 2 - Swedish Canadians storm to the top
Week two of ESEA MDL Season 34 has come to a close, with Swedish Canadians taking the top spot after winning four matches this week.
Topping the list of achievements during Swedish Canadian's tour de force through the division this week was a massive 16-14 upset against the recently assembled Chaos. Besides that, they also managed a 16-13 win against Rugratz, another MDL playoffs mainstay.
Despite their loss to Swedish Canadians, Chaos had a strong start to their season this week, picking up one-sided wins over Big Frames, Mythic, and Warriors International.
Another noteworthy performance this week saw Mythic's Erik "fl0m" put up a career-best 2.69 rating against oNe, propelling his team to a 16-3 victory.
Speaking of oNe, the next few weeks will likely be a struggle for the lineup as Alencar "trk" Rossato has been linked to a move to MIBR, forcing the lineup to use coach Olavo "chucky" Napoleão in the short-term. With chucky standing-in, oNe fell to a 2-2 record following the aforementioned loss to Mythic alongside a 16-19 loss to Under 21.
