Nouns fall to paiN in opening LEON matchup

Another warm up before Jönköping.

As the DAO-backed squad continued their preparations for ESL Challenger Jönköping, they joined LEON Teamplay Season 2 as a replacement for ForZe. The Russian team needed to withdraw as it appears there was a clash with the ESL Challenger Atlanta European Closed Qualifier. For Nouns, the event is another excellent opportunity for the squad to build up further match practice in Europe before appearing in Sweden.

Nouns went up in their best-of-one matchup against paiN on Mirage, which the squad has a decent enough record on. However, it would not be enough today as paiN and new star Lucas "nqz" Soares were in the driver's seat for the majority of the game. Despite the late comeback attempt by Nouns in the second half, it would not be enough to overturn their 8-4 deficit at the half and they would lose 13-11.
