M80 one win away from CCT East Europe S3 playoffs
M80 has been having a lot of practice in Europe but this might just be the biggest test the team faced so far in this stint across the pond. Both M80 and 00 Nation have a 2-1 record, with the North Americans falling to Sampi, and the European squad losing to ECSTATIC.
The winner of this series will qualify for the playoffs, where they will face invited teams yet to be announced.
For those with short memory, the 00 Nation is composed of Thomas "birdfromsky" Due-Frederiksen, Jon "JDC" de Castro, Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen, Tim "susp" Ångström, and Florian "syrsoN" Rische, with Faruk "pita" Pita on the coaching role. This squad has already won a Pinnacle Cup beating the likes of Astralis and FURIA.
This is one of M80's biggest challenges in Europe, even when taking into account the team's ESL Pro League S18 matches. Despite being better ranked than 00 Nation, M80 is still not considered the favorite team to win the series by betting websites.
The match starts at 12:30PM, and, even if M80 don't manage to win, they are not done just yet, as they will have a do or die series next. With a win here, they will have a few days to rest and prepare for their playoff opponent.
