Voltage to stand-in for Chaos at Flashpoint 1

mCe reunites with an old friend.

Following the announcement earlier today that Owen "smooya" Butterfield had returned to the United Kingdom to complete his visa interview, Chaos have announced that his temporary replacement will be none other than Triumph's Logan "Voltage" Long.

Chaos' roster for Flashpoint 1 will be:

  • United States Cameron "cam" Kern
  • Canada Joshua "steel" Nissan
  • United States Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
  • United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
  • United States Logan "Voltage" Long (Stand-in)
  • United States Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)
  • Owen "smooya" Butterfield (Inactive)

The news comes a day after Voltage and Triumph secured themselves a place at the ESEA MDL Season 33 Global Challenge with a win over Under 21.

Dust2.us knows that despite Flashpoint 1 being played online due to COVID-19, the league is requiring teams to be in Los Angeles unless they receive special permission. Voltage is with the team at their apartment where they have been practicing together, on top of his normal schedule with Triumph.

Chaos' first match with Voltage will be tomorrow at 4PM EDT against Gen.G.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Good choice, I think Grim could've also been another option (but they are the team and I'm not, so I trust their judgement)
