Three Gen.G players made the top ten players list this month

s0m claims top spot in February player ranking

With LAN events returning to the calendar, Gen.G's lineup proved a capable team.

With February and the first LAN events of the year coming to a close, we are taking a look back at North America's top performers online and offline for the month.

For the purposes of this ranking, the events used to rank players include DreamHack Open Anaheim, BLAST Premier Spring Series, and IEM Katowice 2020.

Along with claiming his first LAN win, Sam "s0m" Oh also had a breakout month as an individual player, finishing far ahead of North America's best in the rankings with a 1.33 rating. During his first finals, s0m notably put up a 1.31 rating against FURIA to lead the way for his team to claim the trophy.

Coming in second place with a 1.15 rating for the month is s0m's Gen.G teammate Timothy "autimatic" Ta. His strong performance at DreamHack Open Anaheim is a positive sign for the star player after he had an underwhelming 2019 under Cloud9.

Behind autimatic this month were perennial top players Jonathan "EliGE Jablonowski, Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, with EliGE notably finishing IEM Katowice as one of the highest rated players.

As for online performances, Triumph's Michael "Grim" Wince has topped the leaderboard for his second month in a row, ending the month with a stellar 1.36 rating and helping his team to a perfect 7-0 record in MDL.

Finishing right below Grim with a 1.32 rating was former Envy played Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor, who has most recently been playing with Ze Pug Godz mix.

Below them is Braxton "swag" Pierce, who retired from CS:GO earlier last month. His performances online are a reminder of what a great player he was, ending the month with a 1.28 rating.

The recently formed Orgless lineup also had strong performances last month, with Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and  Gage "Infinite" Green making waves as they worked their way through numerous qualifiers to claim spots in ESL One Rio Americas Minor Closed Qualifier and the FLASHPOINT LAN qualifier.
