The MDL season lumbers on, with the roster lock hitting yesterday. In addition to rosters being unable to change for the rest of this season, this means that the New Patrol roster of Will "dazzLe" Loafman, Maxim "wippie" Shepelev, and Jack "xCeeD" Holiman will not be participating in Season 33.
Of other logistical note, Asuna's Anime Aimers have been renamed to In The Lab.
Monstars found success against Canadian opponents this week, beating both Oceanus and LiViD, but were bullied in a 16-5 loss to Big Frames. LiViD are still yet to put up a win in Season 33.
Mythic lost their first match of the season to Chaos, but then bounced back in a big way for the rest of the week, beating Thunder Logic, Oceanus, and Infinity to solidify their commanding lead atop the standings, now boasting a 8-1 record.
Chaos on the other hand had a roller coaster week, alternating wins and losses in their four matches, beating Mythic, losing to Under 21, beating Divine, and then losing to Bad News Bears yesterday evening. Bad News Bears and Under 21 are Season 33's only remaining undefeated teams.
Swole Identity played five matches this week, finishing 3-2 with wins against Station 7, LiViD, and Oceanus. They lost in quadruple overtime to Rugratz and to Under 21.
Week five features clashes between teams that you'll expect to see again come playoff time.
