ex-Naventic eliminate Tempo Storm from Dust2.us Masters #1
Tempo Storm and ex-Naventic faced off on Mirage in the Group A elimination match of our first Masters event.
The initial two rounds went the way of Tempo Storm, but the Swedes were unable to counter ex-Naventic's third round buy. Three kills from Jake "kaboose" McDonald cracked the economy of the Tempo Storm early, moving his team up to three rounds before Tempo fought back for a round. The Swedes surviving with only two players allowed ex-Naventic to crush the CT economy once again, giving themselves a massive economic advantage for the remainder of the half. The North Americans pushed their way forward to take six additional rounds for themselves, locking Tempo Storm out until the last three rounds of the half. There, Tempo Storm were able to take two rounds for their own, with ex-Naventic snagging the final round of the half for a 10-5 lead.
A B site hit from Tempo Storm proved successful to give the Swedes the second pistol round, but desert eagles tore apart Tempo Storm's attempt at mid control as ex-Naventic took control of the map once again. Two more rounds went the way of the North Americans before Tempo Storm converted a three-on-five for their second T round, but once again found themselves reset. This final monetary meltdown sealed Tempo Storm's fate as ex-Naventic cruised to a victory, picking up the final three rounds.
