dare returns to timbermen

Meanwhile, Project90 has been booted in a hunt for more experience.

Derek "dare" Brown has announced his return to his perennial team, timbermen, after a short month-long search for a new team. In the wake of dare's return, timbermen have also elected to part ways with Dongfeng "Project90" Liu as they look for two new players to complete their lineup.

dare told Dust2.us that he elected to return to timbermen after being unable to find any individual offers after leaving the team in mid-June. dare's decision to return to timbermen prompted the squad’s decision to part ways with Project90 as dare said he was lacking experience despite being a good and cool player overall.

With dare returning to the nest, timbermen are now:

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

  • Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He

  • United States Derek "dare" Brown

timbermen will need to quickly sort out their roster as they are set to play the Thunderpick World Championship 2023: North American Qualifier #1 on July 10th.

Honestly this is the best-case scenario for the team. I don't think they had any real shot at rebuilding without him but instead with project. I wish he could have found a team since he is the most talented player on the roster but hopefully, he stays the course and out of the CS tabloids as he should be able to land on a better team at some point.
