Liquid crash on Nuke

Despite being hefty favorites heading into the match-up, the NA side found themselves on the back foot from the get-go. A weak performance from the squad has seen them now with their backs against the wall, and fans searching for answers.

A poor CT half, allowed the Brazilian team to pick up seven rounds on the traditionally harder T side of Nuke. When the teams switched over the Brazilian side managed to put up a stout defense, stringing together 11 rounds to pull themselves ahead of Liquid 13-11.

With Liquid managing to find only three rounds on their attacking side, the underdog Brazilian team managed to lock up the map win with a 16-11.

It was a collapse that not even the entire CS:GO community could conceive, with so many picking Fluxo as their 0-3 Pick 'Em. Fans from all over have taken to social media to show their shock that Fluxo managed to even win a single map over the legendary North American team.

With Liquid having their backs against the wall, they head to Inferno to hopefully turn the tide and secure a placement in a 1-2 game.
