ESL reveal all Cache showmatch players

Players from four competing teams and steel will be the first to take the reworked map for a spin.

ESL have revealed the complete list of players set to play in the new Cache remake showmatch at ESL One New York.

The remake of Cache is set to be revealed before the grand final of ESL One New York, and will feature ten players from a variety of attending teams that clash in a showmatch live on stage. Nine of the players that will participate in the showmatch are part of teams in attendance at the event, while Joshua "steel" Nissan was flown in to complete the list after tweeting that he could "show Tarik what real content is."

Each of the teams feature two players from Liquid, with one side featuring Cache veteran Nick "nitr0" Cannella and the other Jake "Stewie2K" Yip. Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, Audric "JacKz" Jug, and steel complete one side of the battle, while Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken are set to face off against two of their teammates from the opposing side. Completing the second team are two additional players from G2 and Evil Geniuses, with Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Tarik "tarik" Celik being joined by Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke.

The two teams for the ESL One New York Cache showmatch are:

The first day of the event has just concluded, with Liquid already through to the playoffs, and eUnited having been sent packing by ENCE.
