The former Tricked coach failed to reach an agreement with Wildcard on compensation

Danish coach backs out of Wildcard signing

Winspai's time with the team was unfortunately short lived.

Following Dust2.us' report yesterday regarding Wildcard's imminent entry into CS:GO with the acquisition of Detonate's roster, Philippe "Winspai" Mølgaard Ouabaid reached out to Dust2.us to clarify that he is no longer involved with the project.

The former Tricked head coach told Dust2.us that despite his desire to lead a project in North America, the two parties couldn't reach an agreement on compensation with Winspai coaching in North America while living in Europe. The impasse marks the end of Winspai's brief time with the team, having worked with them for the past few weeks while also taking to the server in the ESL Challenger Katowice qualifiers.

Wildcard are now expected to be:

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore

  • Canada Adam "freshie" Paterson

  • United States Jack "micro" Ryan

  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein

  • United States Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan

The presumptive Wildcard lineup will now be on a lookout for a new coach ahead of their debut in ESL Challenger League Season 45.
