ECS S8 Pinnacle Cup invites revealed
FACEIT have announced the eight invited teams to the ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup, containing mostly EPL or MDL teams, with the exception of Sharks. They will join the eight qualified teams to try and secure the best chance to participate in the next season of ECS.
In the announcement, both Riot Squad and Bad News Bears were listed, despite them being the same team. Dust2.us knows that Mythic were actually the team invited alongside Riot Squad.
Also making the list is Big Frames, who only recently made it back to MDL and lost earlier on in the third open qualifier. Additionally, Renegades make the list, after not participating in Season 7, and thus being relegated.

The Pinnacle Cup is set to begin on September 10th, with higher placing teams having priority in participating in the main season of ECS.
