RBG and Monstars secure last two ESEA Proving Grounds spots

The fourth qualifier has come to and end, and two more teams have made it to the main event.

The last qualifier for ESEA Proving Grounds has finished, seeing RBG and Monstars qualify for the main event.

The first two rounds saw the favorites prevail as usual, with most of them having an easy time dealing with their opponents. The third round had some interesting matchups, with IdentityDisorder beating the 7 Days to Die mix consisting of players like Michael "grim" Wince and Brady "thief" Dever.

In the quarterfinals, Daniel "stomp" Pomerantz's fuck12 was beaten by Monstars with a 16-12 scoreline on Mirage. Kanpekis Kawaii Killers and RBG also had closer games against Tiny Meat Gang and Ascent, respectively, while nTice breezed past IdentityDisorder 16-6 on Inferno.

The first semifinal was played between Monstars and Kanpekis Kawaii Killers and saw the MDL side emerge victorious after an exhausting quadruple overtime, finishing the game with a 28-25 score. The second semifinal was a swift game, as RBG allowed nTice only six rounds and secured one of the two spots for the main event. The final was the same story for RBG, with the Advanced team defeating Monstars 16-6.
