Liquid and Complexity head to IEM Katowice Group Stage

Following a devastating Play-in stage for CS:GO fans in the western hemisphere, Liquid and Complexity will look to carry the torch for the region in the IEM Katowice group stage with the opening matchups being announced.

Liquid's opening match will be against IHC, a deceptively easy match for a top five team in the world. However, as demonstrated today when the Mongolians peeled FURIA apart, nothing is so simple with the Asian squad. This is especially true as Liquid essentially went missing at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups, only winning against Complexity before being sent packing. Nick "nitr0" Cannella and co. will need to study up and be ready for their match against IHC tomorrow at 01:00PM lest they want to join the graveyard of Americas teams felled by the upstarts.

As for Complexity, they have quite the task ahead of them as they look to take the fight to Heroic. Putting the memes aside about EG's win over Heroic at BLAST Premier Spring Groups, the Danes are still a terror on the server and will not let an NA team embarrass them so easily again. This match will take an absolute heater from Michael "Grim" Wince if they want to keep competitive in Katowice when they square off on February 5th at 06:30AM.
