FaNg stood out in the elimination match

Complexity Permitta'd to continue

Complexity stave off elimination and sit one game from Katowice's main stage.

Both Complexity and Permitta started day 1 of the Katowice Play-Ins on a sour note, losing to BIG and FURIA respectively. With this match, one of these would be eliminated, and one would sit just one game away from qualification to the main stage.

Permitta, the home team, chose to do battle on Nuke first, handing over the favored CT-side to Complexity first. Nuke wasn't an uncomfortable map for the North American squad however, winning the map three of the four times they played it. They began Nuke versus Permitta on a hot start, taking the pistol and the two rounds following. Permitta took two of their own, but it would prove to be the last rounds they won in a while as Complexity strung CT rounds to win the half 12-3. A successful T-sided pistol round for Complexity all but shut the coffin on Nuke, as they also took the conversion grabbing a 14-3 lead. Permitta did string five successful rounds in a row to start something of a comeback, but Complexity shut that down to win 16-8.

Stealing Permitta's map pick, Complexity would only need to win on their chosen map Overpass to secure victory. Permitta interestingly chose to begin on the T-side of Overpass, a strange choice. Perhaps Complexity were caught off as well as Permitta took the opening pistol round and the two following. The Complexity train did eventually leave the station, winning all but one of the remaining rounds, winning their CT-side 11-4. Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli clutched out the next pistol round, and taking the following took Complexity to 13-4. Permitta did not give the last two rounds easily, making Complexity work for the 16th, but eventually, they did, taking Overpass 16-7 and the series 2-0.

Complexity will next face ENCE tomorrow at 10:00AM.

I'd hate to see it but I can see floppy getting benched. I don't know if he's unmotivated again like when the C9 project shit the bed, or if he's playing purely support. I Want to see the Flop back on top baby and I know he's capable.
