motm follows in the footsteps of TenZ and Hiko as their latest North American addition

motm officially joins ATK

The journeyman North American player has settled into a new home after a short trial period.

After helping ATK in their successful run in the third MSI MGA Open Qualifier, Dust2.us has confirmed with the team that they will be adding Ian "motm" Hardy on a permanent basis.

ATK had been on the lookout for a new fifth since the start of June when Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek was acquired by Envy. Following that move, the team had been using Tyson "TenZ" Ngo as a stand-in and were looking to sign him however TenZ's acquisition by Cloud9 nixed those plans.

As previously reported, the team's coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen remains in South Africa at this time for medical reasons, although he hopes to be able to return to North America for ESL Pro League Season 9 Relegation.

As such, ATK's roster moving forward is:

  • Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
  • Rhys "Fadey" Armstrong
  • Dominic "Domsterr" Sampaio
  •  Robby "blackpoisoN" Da Loca
  • United States Ian "motm" Hardy
  • Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen (Coach)

Additionally, with motm officially out of the team, Party Astronauts have been reduced to:

  • United States Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
  • United States Brenden "stellar" McGrath
  • United States Robert "robby" Brown

ATK are currently playing their opening match of Mythic Cup #4 against RUNnGUN.
