NA star tops pistol ratings for 2022
Since Liquid's Grand Slam-winning team in 2019, it has undeniably been Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken shouldering the burden of the region on the big stage with his FaZe squad. The Canadian superstar finally saw his FaZe side turn their potential into trophies and he helped them on their way with some stellar performances.
Twistzz is maybe best known among fans for his headshot ability, sporting a incredibly high 62% HS rate, but it was his ability in pistol rounds that really helped spur on FaZe's title dominance in the first half of the year. So much so that the Canadian star was actually the highest-rated pistol player of the year, counting big events, despite FaZe's post Summer drop-off.
The closest competition came from last year's top performer Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut only mustering a 1.32 rating compared to Twistzz's 1.38. The pistol prowess no doubt has a link to the Canadians pinpoint accuracy and will be a key piece in FaZe's puzzle moving into 2023.
