Another week went by in ESL Challenger League Season 42 North America and eight matches were played, with some teams finally debuting. EG Black is now the only team yet to play this season.

Group A had Iron Blood starting its season with three straight wins as Derek "dare" Brown got 201 kills over the nine maps played. The first game was against Detonate, then it was Snakes Den's time to feel dare's fury. But the 21-year-old wasn't done yet as he posted up 67 kills against MIBR alone in the Brazilians' debut. Los + oNe remain undefeated after beating Strife with a clean 2-0 and a usual Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa amazing performance.

Over in Group B, ATK got its second win, this time against the newly-promoted Villainous. Disconnected played twice after losing against Nouns earlier in the season. This time, the team found two comfortable wins against Mythic and Magic School Bus. To round off the recap, Vendetta finally debuted against Red Wolves, which resulted in a 2-0 win for Saad "Pluto" Siraj and co.
