Earlybirds reborn as EX CINERE
Noah "insane" Eheart's Earlybirds roster underwent a massive change in the leadup to ESEA Advanced Season 43, seeing the majority of the team replaced by the core of the former Touch Point squad. In line with this new-look roster, Earlybirds has renamed to EX CINERE, which means "From the Ashes" in Latin, a fitting motif for a team looking to find success in Advanced after a quiet year for the quintet.
Earlybirds finished ESEA Advanced Season 42 in 7th-8th place after falling in the lower bracket to Eros. This prompted a change in their roster, seeing Liam "xCAPE" Redmond and Connor "TiCx" Hartman replaced by Reece "Wilky" Wilkerson and Cavan "CaV" V. on October 10th. This iteration of Earlybirds proved to be incredibly short-lived however, as CaV stepped down from the team on October 26th to focus on school. This prompted a complete reevaluation of the squad by insane and Austin "AJaxz" Janocha, with Dalton "doltn" Ehlers and Wilky also exiting the squad.
In the trio's place, Earlybirds scooped up Brett "Beastman" Eastman, Nikolaos "PoseidoNN" Antoniou, and Matthew "Livid" Surma, formerly of Touch Point. The trio had found themselves without a home for Season 43 in the post-season tumult that followed an underwhelming 6-6 regular season. They will now look to return to ESEA Advanced playoffs under the leadership of insane.
