Infinite looks to be returning to activity after leaving Brazen for elbow surgery

Report: Strife look towards Infinite and Snakes

Sources tell Dust2.us that Strife are targeting the former ONET4P duo.

Dust2.us understands that Canadian organization Strife have been scrimming with former ONET4P players Gage "Infinite" Green and Ryan "Snakes" Amann. The news comes after Strife recently parted ways with Matthew "D4rtyMontana" Paplawskas and Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan following an underwhelming run in ESL Challenger League Season 42.

The addition of Infinite would see the former Party Astronauts and Swole Patrol player return to activity after stepping down from Brazen because of an upcoming elbow surgery that would make it easier for him to play. The team also allegedly had cohesion issues that prompted Infinite's decision to leave the squad, making it an ideal time to get his elbow surgery.

Snakes meanwhile could be returning from a short hiatus that came after the demise of ONET4P due to the team lacking the resources to continue competing. He was recently spotted playing in both SLIGHT and D4rtyMontana's spots in recent qualifiers.

While Snakes and Infinite are only loosely tied with the current Strife players, they have a significant connection to their coach, Calvin "becker" Becker, as he was their head coach on ONET4P.

The addition of the duo would mark an interesting role shift within the team as neither Snakes nor Infinite are primary AWPers, necessitating someone to take up the role. Additionally, it leaves open questions about who would take over as IGL as none of the players on this team are particularly known for their in-game leading.

Strife did not respond to a request for comment when Dust2.us reached out to the organization while David "J0LZ" Jolin declined to comment.

Should Infinite and Snakes fit what Strife is looking for, the team should consist of:

  • Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin

  • United States Ethan "reck" Serrano

  • United States Jordon "jitter" Ruggiero

  • United States Gage "Infinite" Green

  • United States Ryan "Snakes" Amann

  • United States Calvin "becker" Becker (Coach)

This new-look squad would compete in ESL Challenger League Season 43 when it starts on October 25th.
