Complexity cruise to qualification match

In what was always going the Americans way, Complexity will now head to the qualification games to get to Rio.

Both Complexity and paiN won their first matches of the RMR, setting up a cross-continental match-up to decide who ends up one game away from qualifying, and who ends up with an even scoreline. After all the vetos were said and done, the two teams found themselves playing on Ancient, with Complexity on their offensive side first.

To get the game started, Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt absolutely demolished the Americans on the pistol round, taking four lives and the first round for his team. Not one to hold back, though, Complexity quickly forced into the next round and stole the conversion away from paiN. A force buy from the Brazilians was handled in short order and their following eco didn't leave a dent.

paiN's first gun round wasn't as effective as they wished, with their next half-buy actually netting more kills, but still no round. The next gun round went again in the favor of Complexity's T-side with a wonderful 1v2 post-plant clutch from Ricky "floppy" Kemery, making it five in a row for 6-1. The first AWP finally came out in Romeu "zevy" Rocco's hand in the next half-buy, but in fact it wasn't him but the CZ-75s surrounding him that made the eighth round interesting, but another 1v2 clutch, this time from Justin "FaNg" Coakley, made sure the Bra7-1l scoreline came to fruition.

With a weaker buy. Complexity were unable to convert, bringing paiN ever closer with an 8-4 scoreline. A Complexity eco brought the scoreline one closer. Complexity's next round forced another 1v2 attempt from floppy, but his 1hp made it impossible, giving paiN the round. In the last round of the half, paiN brought out the secondary AWP which proves worthwhile as they get 6 of the final 7 rounds making the scoreline as close as can be, 8-7 in favor of Complexity.

Complexity jumped at the chance to take back control of the match and did so with a successful pistol round win. It was almost too easy for the Americans as they continued to steamroll paiN through the second half now that they held the advantage being on the defense. Michael "Grim" Wince led the way for the team with 22 kills by the 20th round as Complexity built their lead up to 13-7 thanks to five winning rounds. The team simply could not give up or even let paiN into the game as they would close it out 16-7.

Col and grim are still looking super strong. This is super refreshing to see they aren’t letting off the breaks
