Liquid and ENCE secure first two invites to IEM Chicago
ESL have announced the first two direct invites to IEM Chicago 2019, which to set to run from July 18th - July 21st.
With the exception of Astralis, who have already announced they will be missing this event, Liquid and ENCE are the current highest ranked teams on HLTV.
For Liquid this will be their fourth guaranteed stop on the Intel Grand Slam circuit, with the team currently slated to attend DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, and the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. The North Americans certainly won't be weeping about the lack of Astralis, as the Danes battered Liquid to achieve a 3-0 victory at the event last year.
