Brazen remove IGL in overhaul

His removal comes concurrently with D4rtyMontana's jump to Strife.

Brazen have cut their IGL, Austin "mesamiduck" Dardar from the squad. The move follows the same-day departure of Matthew “D4rtyMontana” Paplawska to Strife. The removal of mesamiduck as the head of Brazen comes as something of a surprise after the team made playoffs in ESL Challenger League Season 41.

Regarding mesamiduck's removal, Keanu "Danejoris" Reyes told Dust.2us that there are no hard feelings, however the removal was driven by what was perceived as a lack of effort to retain and improve his individual performance after the team's initial successes. Danejoris said teams should be willing to give mesamiduck's system a try, but they want an IGL who is willing to grind and improve with them.

For his part, mesamiduck told Dust2.us in a brief statement that his removal was driven by reasons outside of the game.

Brazen are now:

  • United States Jeff "RZU" Ngo

  • United States Brennan "grape" Greer

  • United States Keanu "Danejoris" Reyes

  • United States Nick "Noot" Samodurov (Coach)

  • United States Christian "N1ght" Kilian (Analyst)

Brazen will need to rapidly move to find a new IGL and a fifth player as the transfer season winds down ahead of the start of ESL Challenger League Season 42 on August 16th.
