Imperial have their work cut out for them

Imperial trounced by some Outsiders

FalleN and co. were unable to get anything going on Inferno

Imperial fell to Outsiders 16-6 on Inferno in their opening game of the IEM Cologne Play-In. While it was always going to be an uphill battle against Outsiders, the way in which Imperial lost was surprising. This result will see Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo's boys take on the Oceanic ORDER tomorrow in the elimination battle.

Imperial kicked off their matchup against Outsiders on the back foot, quickly going down 10-1 on their T-side. The Brazilians were able to quickly rally and bring four rounds towards the end of the half to make it a 10-5 scoreline, however it was too little too late. The Russians of Outsiders were able to win the second-half pistol and continue to keep the pressure up. It was only at 14-5 that Imperial grabbed their lone CT-side round before being dispatched and losing the match, 16-6.
