Complexity invited to Global Esports Tour Dubai

The struggling squad has a chance to get back on track next week.

Dubai-based organizer Esports Management Group announced on Twitter that eight of the top teams from various regions of the world would be competing at a LAN in Dubai for their share of a sizable $250,000 prize pool. Representing North America as the region's sole invite is Complexity, looking to take a solid win after their rough start to the year.

The young lineup has struggled to find comfort amongst the top teams in the region and the world, amassing a 25-36 map record since joining the organization. Most recently, the team saw rather disappointing results on home soil at IEM Dallas, with losses to MIBR and NIP, both featuring stand-ins, and ultimately exiting the event with a 13th-16th placing.

After a rough showing last month in Antwerp and this week in Dallas, the Complexity squad will have a packed June schedule to help overcome the disappointment. Besides the invite to Global Esports Tour in Dubai, the team is also attending the Roobet Cup beginning at the end of the month. With two notable events against top competition on the calendar this month, Complexity has another pair of opportunities to get on track and begin chalking up wins against top teams.

The eight teams will do battle in Dubai beginning June 9th with the winner being crowned the 11th. The attending teams are:

Sweden NIP
Movistar Riders
World MOUZ
United States Complexity

OG
Falcons
TYLOO
World NASR
