Omega round out roster with new fifth

ESEA Advanced team Omega have brought on former Touch Point player Liam "xCAPE" Redmond to the starting lineup. This move comes after the early exit of new addition Noah "flixxy" French, who joined up with fellow Advanced squad X13 after just a brief time on Omega's books.

flixxy linked up with Omega at the beginning of Advanced Season 41 after a three-season tenure with Touch Point. Before his rapid departure from Omega, flixxy helped the squad to a 1-1 start to Season 41 with a win over Mllennium 7 and a loss to X13. Shortly afterward, flixxy packed his bags and made his way to X13 following the exit of Austin "Sway" Pollock" from that team, leaving a gap open on Omega.

The person to fill that gap would be xCAPE, previously known by the nickname Liam, who joins Omega after a two-season stint with Touch Point. xCAPE helped Touch Point clinch the playoff berth in both Advanced Season 39 and Season 40, but the squad struggled to make it deep in either playoff run. In addition, xCAPE helped Touch Point reach a solid finish at the Fragadelphia 16 LAN, where the team reached the quarterfinals before being trounced by Norweigan squad Apeks Rebels.

xCAPE's debut for the squad did not pan out as hoped, with Omega making an early exit in the ESEA Spring Cash Cup 3, and falling to Fire Breathing Duckies 16-11 in their third match of the Advanced season. Omega will be looking to bounce back from that loss in their game against Tempest, set to start tonight at 09:00PM.
