Unjustified reverse course; bring back Sloopy for Jermaine after just eight days

Jermaine is back searching for a new home after an uninspiring week-long stint.

Connor "Jermaine" Bucholz has departed Unjustified, bringing an end to an extremely brief eight-day tenure with the squad. This also sees Andrew "Sloopy" Church reunite with McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison and company after previously making way for Jermaine last week.

Unfortunately, Jermaine was unable to adjust during his short stint with the squad. The side lost 16-13 to both UYU and Magic School Bus which whittled their ESEA Advanced record down to a modest 6-4 showing. Outside of their league campaign, Unjustified also failed to make deep runs in both of the North American RMR Open Qualifiers, falling to Gaimin Gladiators 16-7 and 16-5 in the third round of both events.

As for Sloopy, he rejoins the squad after previously being with the team for most of ESEA Advanced Season 40, where he helped Unjustified post a solid 6-2 regular-season record. Beyond that, the 18-year-old was also a part of the lineup that managed to reach the fourth round of ESEA x Fragadelphia Winter Cash Cup 4 before falling 16-10 to Third Impact. Sloopy has also already made his debut since returning with a matchup versus Kinship, where Cyrix and co. fell 16-8 in a relatively one-sided contest.

Unjustified now have:

  • McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison

  • Dennis "Hitman" Brichko

  • Justin "jsfeltner" Feltner

  • Kyle "Just2EZ" Tan

  • Andrew "Sloopy" Church

Despite the strong start to the season, Unjustified have since fallen to a middling 6-5 record. They will be looking to round out the season strong with their first of three remaining matches set to be against Philadelphia Liberty tonight at 09:00PM.
