Day 1 of the NA RMR Open Qualifier #1 concludes

With only a few RMR qualification spots allocated, and heavyweights like GODSENT, Liquid, Evil Geniuses, and Complexity participating, the next four days will be a true test of everyone's skill, endurance, and ability to counter-act the grueling nature of best-of-one open qualifiers.

08:05PM Day 1 matches conclude with 16 teams remaining

The first day of the matches have concluded and the top 16 teams are set to continue battling out tomorrow for the 4 qualification slots. The matches will continue as BO1s for the Round of 16, moving to BO3s for the Round of 8 (quarterfinals) to determine the top 4, and finally concluding with BO1s for the remainder of the bracket for seeding purposes. This round saw our first matchup of ECL teams for the day, with Third Impact edging out ONET4P 19-15 on Ancient to march on to the Round-of-32. NAF goes flawless as Liquid blitz through the first stage of the event, taking down TheTaxidermists 16-0 whilst ATK secure their own one-sided victory with a 16-1 showing versus Patatime.

04:00PM First best-of-one matchups get underway

The Round-of-256 has kicked off with some of North America's best looking to secure their spot in the upcoming Americas RMR in April. The rounds will play out back-to-back until the top-16 teams are finalized, with the Round-of-16 getting underway tomorrow.

03:30PM First North Americas RMR Open Qualifier set to start

Over 130 teams have signed up for the inaugural open qualifier for the North Americas RMR. The tournament will run across today and tomorrow, gifting four spots to the Americas RMR in April, with the other three places being allocated in the second open qualifier beginning March 12th.

The tournament kicks off at 04:00PM and will run as a single-elimination best-of-one bracket until tomorrow, where the qualifying quarterfinal matchups will switch to best-of-three affairs, before reverting back to best-of-one games for seeding purposes.
